REFUND POLICY
At Standon Mill we want you to be pleased with the service and product you receive from us. However we are aware on occassions we know this does not always happen. We want to make it as simple and straight forward as possible to make this right.
Cancelling an order
Following the Distance Selling Regulations and EU Consumer rights directive, you have the right to cancel your order up to 14 working days starting from the day after you receive the goods, (There is an exception for perishable goods which cannot be cancelled or returned unless faulty).
If you wish to cancel your order, you must inform us via email or phone. You can contact us on 01270 260060 from Mon-Fri: 9:00am - 5pm or by email to enquiries@standonmill.co.uk
If the goods have been despatched or delivered then you will be responsible for returning the goods back to us at your own expense, we can arrange this via a DHL collection at a cost of £7.50 alternatively you can choose to return via another tracked return service. Any returns must be tracked and insured, we cannot accept any responsibility for goods lost or damaged in transit.
You must ensure that the goods are adequately packaged to protect against damage and are still in a 'good' condition. Items returned due to a change of mind, that are not in a resaleable condition may not be refunded in full or a refund refused. These items would only be returned to you at your own cost. The item will need to be inspected before we are able to process your refund. If the item is returned in an unsaleable condition or with damaged packaging we reserve the right to refuse refund.
Please do not refuse the delivery. If you do reject the delivery from the carrier then we would need make a deduction for the cost of this action from any refund (currently £7.50).
Damaged/Faulty Goods
Please inspect your order upon receipt, If you unfortunately receive your good(s) in a faulty or damaged condition you also have the right under the EU Consumer Rights Directive to return your goods up to 30 days starting from the day after you receive the goods.

We reserve the right to request pictures of the delivery to assess the next step in the process. Should the 'Goods' prove to be faulty or in a poor condition upon delivery a credit will be raised once returned.
Incorrectly selected address
If you provide an incorrect delivery address at point of order, there will be a £7.50 charge for any failed deliveries as a result of this. If you notice that you have input an incorrect address please contact us as soon as possible to give us the best opportunity to get this changed so no additional charge is incurred.
Refunds
We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
